For now, there are a few tidbits below to wet your pallet and keep you coming back for more.
It's just around the corner now, 2010 National (International) Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) international convention and business meeting, and takes place in Washington, D.C.
The list of CE courses and workshops is terrific; it will be a non-stop insurance information fest!
Stay tuned for follow-up information to learn about the business activities at the national level, see who won the international awards, and discover who has become the coveted international Confidence While Communicating oratory contest winner.
Remember to explore their HIGHLY IMPROVED website. www.naiw.org
Nancy Linde of Wright-Linde, Inc. was named the 2009 VIP of the Year. Nancy has been a member and supporter of IWOJ and its efforts for decades. She owns her own agency, which specializes in marine insurance, and is IWOJ's Teasurer. She is always available to assist where needed and takes the initiative to assist in opportunities recognized only by those that have her vast amount of experience. Congratulations Nancy. You have our humble gratitude for all that you do!
On February 20th, 2009, Linda Kay Wallace, President of IWOJ, earned her Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designation. This is a distinction only received through affiliation with the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) and is obtained by years of membership and successful completion of both NAIW educational courses and by having other industry designations.
Region three, led by Regional Vice President Ginger Hayes, gets its first ever website. Visit www.region3naiw.org for news and information at the regional level.
Our members made a splash at the Florida Council Meeting in Naples, FL. Penny Waldo was elected to the Florida Council as the Treasurer-Elect.
Linda Kay Brett was again appointed by the FL Council Director, Glenda Griffin, as Webmaster.
Congratulations to you both, and thanks for making us proud.
